Dr. Coles will provide you with an eyeglasses prescription and make several suggestions for your lens design based on your specific needs. • Comprehensive Eye Exams

Complete eye exams are not just for updating your prescription. Learn more about what your eye doctor will screen for, what to expect at your appointment, some of the advanced technology we use, and special considerations for geriatrics,  pediatrics, and infant eyecare.

• Contact Lens Exams

A routine exam won’t provide some of the measurements and testing required to determine if your eyes are suitable for contact lens wear. However, we can fit most patients, make suggestions for different lens types and materials based on your needs, and help you get the most out of your contact lenses.

Eye problems can range from mild to severe; some are chronic, while others resolve on their own. Here’s a short list of common eye conditions we treat, such as Astigmatism, Dry Eye Syndrome, and Presbyopia. We can manage your care, and we can manage any specialist referrals if needed.

We diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Cataracts.

• Ocular Emergencies (Pink/Red Eye)

Did you know our practice can save your trip to the ER? Red eyes, pink eyes, sore eyes, foreign body removals, and many other eye emergencies can be seen promptly at our office. Our after-hours emergency number is 231-527-9111.

• Dry Eye Treatments: TearCare

The TearCare System applies heat to the eyelids, removing blockages caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction—the leading cause of dry eye disease. The soft, flexible material conforms comfortably to your eye shape, allowing you to keep your eyes open and blinking during the quick 15-minute in-office treatment!
